Kahnle has allowed just three earned runs in 19 1/3 innings and put together 14 consecutive scoreless outings in Triple-A. The veteran will test free agency if not promoted by June 1, his opt-out date, per Chris Cotillo. "We’re well-aware of who he is, what he’s done and his performance down there," Chad Tracy said.
