Tony Clark Resigns As MLBPA Executive Director

Clark informed MLBPA leadership that he will step down as executive director after serving in the role since 2013. The resignation comes as the union and MLB prepare to negotiate a new collective bargaining agreement. Baseball’s current CBA expires on Dec. 1. Deputy director Meyer will oversee the transition planning. Clark represented players during the 2022 negotiations.
