Top Five Biggest Comebacks in College Football History

The largest comeback in college football history came in 2006, when Michigan State erased a 35-point deficit to beat Northwestern 41–38. Notably, UCLA holds the record for the second- and third-largest comebacks, overcoming 34 points against Texas A&M in 2017 and 32 points against Washington State in 2019. Maryland (1984), Ohio State (1989), Texas Tech (2006), TCU (2016), and Tulsa (2016) each completed 31-point comebacks.
