Toronto Tempo Fill Inaugural Expansion Draft Roster With Mabrey, Sabally
Toronto used Friday’s WNBA expansion draft to build its first roster, headlined by Marina Mabrey, Nyara Sabally and Julie Allemand. The Tempo picked second after Portland won the coin toss and chose the top expansion slot, while Toronto opted for No. 6 in the April 13 draft. Canada’s first WNBA team officially begins play next month.
