Trae Young, Wizards Reportedly Near 3-Year Extension at $30M-$40M Per Year

A report from Marc Stein says Wizards and Young are expected to agree soon on a three-year extension worth $30 million to $40 million annually. In August, Trae would be eligible for a 4-year, $275M extension, making this a considerably lower deal. If finalized, the commitment would lock in the franchise guard while preserving some cap room.
