Triston Casas Shut Down from Hitting After Wrist Injury Scare

Casas, who resumed hitting progression just two weeks ago, has been shut down because of a wrist injury, Red Sox interim manager Chad Tracy revealed. He spent the offseason recovering from the knee injury he suffered in May 2025, restarting baseball activities only on June 21. Boston is last in the AL East with a 40-48 record.
