UNI Announces Death of Freshman TE Parker Sutherland

The University of Northern Iowa football program announced Saturday that tight end Parker Sutherland has died. He was a true freshman during the 2025 season and had recently joined the Panthers as part of their latest recruiting class. UNI athletics did not disclose a cause of death. Sutherland was a native of Iowa City, Iowa.
