Veteran Paul DeJong Joins Yankees On Minor League Deal
Jon Heyman reports the Yankees signed DeJong to a minor league contract with a spring training invite. The 32-year-old made one All-Star team (2019) with the Cardinals and played 57 games for Washington in 2025. He owns a .229/.294/.416 career line with 146 homers. DeJong’s infield versatility could matter if Anthony Volpe misses the Opening Day on March 25.
