Vikings cornerback Isaiah Rodgers criticized players staying in college into their mid-20s, saying it is “insane” that they could end their rookie NFL contracts at 29 or 30. His comments followed Miami linebacker Mohamed Toure’s decision to return for an eighth college season. Toure, a 2019 recruit, benefited from redshirting, a COVID year, and injury waivers. Still, Rodgers makes a good point.
