Vikings Expected to Pursue Veteran Quarterback to Challenge J.J. McCarthy

Minnesota plans to add a veteran QB in 2026 to “enhance” the room and “push” McCarthy, per Ian Rapoport. McCarthy has started six of 12 games this year, going 2-4, while Max Brosmer struggled in his lone outing. Carson Wentz served as the backup before landing on injured reserve.
