Vikings Mourn Passing of Former Pro Bowl TE Joe Senser
The Vikings announced Thursday that former Pro Bowl tight end Joe Senser has died at age 69. A sixth-round pick in 1979, Senser remains the only tight end in franchise history to record a 1,000-yard season, finishing with 1,004 yards in 1981. His career was shortened by a severe knee injury, but he remained a beloved figure in Minnesota through broadcasting, business and charitable work.
