Vikings Restructure Byron Murphy Jr. Contract, Create $11.3M Cap Space
The Vikings restructured cornerback Byron Murphy Jr.’s contract, freeing $11.32 million in cap space, per The Athletic. Murphy re-signed with Minnesota last March on a three-year, $54 million deal after joining the team in 2023. In 2025, he played all 17 games, recording 71 tackles, two interceptions, 15 pass breakups and a fumble recovery.
