Viktor Hovland Calls Ping’s New G440 K “Very Tight” On Spin

Hovland raved about Ping’s G440 K after testing it at TPC Scottsdale, saying the face’s “spin consistency…is very tight.” He explained that on his older G425 LST, heel or toe strikes created “very large” spin gaps, but the new head keeps results closer together. The shorter build also let him keep 173–175 mph ball speed while holding spin around 2300 rpm.
