Goodwill said Wembanyama has to be “impactful to start the game” and put his stamp on both ends as San Antonio tries to cut New York’s Finals lead to 2-1. He said the Spurs star “can’t wait” on Stephon Castle or De’Aaron Fox, adding that forcing Towns into foul trouble must be part of the plan.

Victor Wembanyama Shoves Jalen Brunson To The Ground

Things are getting chippy between the Knicks and Spurs at MSG tonight. Aside from Luke Kornet and Josh Hart getting heated with one another, Wemby and Brunson did so a couple minutes earlier. It stemmed from Wemby shoving JB to the ground and Brunson retaliating. No techs were called as the fight lasted a couple seconds.
