Wachtell Found Text of Terry Rozier Saying He'd Come Out of 2023 Hornets Game

Investigators discovered Rozier texted someone he would leave a 2023 game but found insufficient evidence for NBA suspension. The discovery looks bad after federal prosecutors charged Rozier in October for the very conduct investigated. Wachtell had access to Rozier and his phone but couldn't compel outside participation. Federal prosecutors faced no such restriction, giving them investigative advantages the league lacked.
