“With a strong coach, we can accomplish anything,” Mendoza said, praising Cignetti after Indiana’s 56-22 win over Oregon. “The defense played fantastic: only 22 points allowed. It’s homecoming for me, going to Miami. But fantastic team. It’s going to be a great game,” he added ahead of the National Championship on January 19.
