Wendy Blackshaw, Minnesota Sports and Events CEO, Announces 2028 NFL Draft Bid

“We are a great host market, and they know that,” Wendy Blackshaw said after Minnesota submitted a bid to host the 2028 NFL Draft. Lester Bagley added the Vikings will provide “financial support, staff support and organizational energy,” while Matt Meunier said the vision is a “truly regional event” centered around U.S. Bank Stadium. The 2026 NFL Draft is being held in Pittsburgh, and next year the event will move to Washington, DC.
