Which Is the Only Super Bowl That Had 30,000 Empty Seats?

The only Super Bowl known for having about 30,000 empty seats was Super Bowl I played on January 15, 1967, at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The reported attendance (around 62,000) was significantly below the stadium’s 94,000-plus capacity, leaving roughly 30,000 seats unfilled. This year, around 66,000 fans are expected to attend the Super Bowl at Levi’s Stadium with tickets starting from $3,600.
