Who is Replacing Injured J.J. McCarthy?

There’s no injured reserve for J.J. McCarthy, who is week-to-week with a high ankle sprain, Tom Pelissero reported. Now, Minnesota is back to three QBs: Carson Wentz, rookie Max Brosmer, and Desmond Ridder, the former Falcons starter. Wentz will start in place of McCarthy against the Bengals on Sept. 20. Bengals’ Joe Burrow is also out due to surgery.
