Why Australian PGA Championship Players Are Wearing Yellow

Royal Queensland turned yellow on Friday as the Australian PGA Championship honored Jarrod Lyle, an Australian golfer from Victoria, who died in 2018 aged 36 after a long fight with leukemia. Players, caddies, staff and fans wore yellow, echoing his famous Titleist bucket hat and Leuk the Duck charity pins. The #DoingItForJarrod campaign has already raised over AU$500,000 ($326,000) for Challenge’s cancer-support work.
