William Gay Earns Cornerbacks Coach Promotion With Washington Commanders

William Gay moved from assistant defensive backs coach to cornerbacks coach as Washington promoted the longtime former NFL cornerback after Jason Simmons departed. William played 11 NFL seasons, appearing in 176 games with 577 tackles, 13 interceptions and five touchdown returns. Dan Quinn confirmed the staff change while introducing new coordinators and defensive line coach Eric Henderson.
