Wisconsin Athletic Director Chris McIntosh Expected to Step Down for Big Ten Role
McIntosh is expected to resign from his position immediately. Reports indicate that he will transition to a high-level administrative role with the Big Ten Conference, specifically as the newly created Deputy Commissioner for Strategy. McIntosh, who has led UW Athletics since 2021, will report directly to Commissioner Tony Petitti to help shape the conference's long-term broad strategy, per ESPN.
