WNBA’s New CBA Will Have 5x Increase In Average Player Compensation, First $1M+ Salaries
WNBPA President Nneka Ogwumike framed the new CBA as a league-changing breakthrough. She said revenue sharing will create “exponential” salary-cap growth, push average pay above $500,000, and raise standards for facilities, staffing, housing, retirement, and support. “We always told you all we were going to stand on business,” she said. The new CBA opens pathways to league's first $1M+ salaries.
