Woody Johnson Reportedly Pushed Aaron Glenn to Call Jets Defense

ESPN’s Rich Cimini reported that Aaron Glenn initially told Wink Martindale he would control the Jets’ defense and call plays if hired. Martindale reportedly left interviews believing that was the plan. HC Glenn later decided to call plays himself, and Brian Duker was hired soon after. The sequence has fueled speculation that owner Woody Johnson influenced the change.
