WTA Backs Players on Privacy After Coco Gauff Backstage Footage
After Gauff was filmed smashing a racket post–AO QF loss to Svitolina, the WTA said it “takes… concerns about privacy… seriously” and players “deserve spaces… where they can recover in private.” Chair Valerie Camillo called the complaints “completely valid,” urging “clear, respectful boundaries” in off-court areas. The WTA said it will open dialogue with tournaments and broadcasters.
