Yankees Acquire LHP Ryan Weathers in Trade With Marlins

Miami receives outfielders Dillon Lewis and Brendan Jones, and infielders Dylan Jasso and Juan Matheus in the trade. Weathers owns a career 4.93 ERA with 235 strikeouts over 281 innings. The LHP made only eight starts in 2025 due to injuries. A perennial injury concern, Weathers has never made more than 18 starts in a season since his rookie year.
