Yankees Claim Marco Luciano Off Waivers from the Orioles

Luciano was once rated as the Giants' top prospect, but his potential never translated into big league success. He batted .217 with a .590 OPS in 41 games over 2023-24. The 24-year-old spent all of 2025 with Triple-A Sacramento. Luciano bounced around this offseason, claimed by the Pirates and then the Orioles before the move by the Yankees.
