Yankees Make Rare History With Back-To-Back Shutouts
The Yankees became the first team in MLB history to start a season with two shutouts while outscoring opponents 10-0 or better and allowing fewer than five hits through two games. They followed Friday’s 3-0 win over the Giants, giving them four hits allowed across the first two games and back-to-back Opening Day shutouts overall.
