Yoshinobu Yamamoto Loses No-Hitter Bid in Historic Dodgers Twist

Yamamoto came within one out of a no-hitter before surrendering a homer to Jackson Holliday, the first such heartbreak for a Dodgers pitcher since Dazzy Vance in 1923. He struck out 10 on 108 pitches, but the Orioles rallied late. Blake Treinen faltered, and Tanner Scott’s walk-off sealed back-to-back losses, leaving Yamamoto with only a no-decision.
