Zak Brown Says His ‘World Champion Hotline’ Quip to Lando Norris Was Totally Unplanned

Brown insisted his viral radio line to Norris wasn’t scripted at all. After saying the new F1 world champion with, “Is this the world champion hotline?” he admitted, “No, just kind of flowed.” Brown said he’d done something similar with Oscar Piastri after the Constructors’ win, then joked on live TV Norris “was crying there. What a wimp.”
