49ers Sign Jack Jones and Cameron Sample to One-Year Contracts
The San Francisco 49ers signed Jones and Sample to one-year deals, adding defensive depth. Jones, a 2022 fourth-round pick, has 213 tackles, 33 passes defensed, and eight interceptions across 58 games, starting all 17 in 2025. Sample, a 2021 fourth-rounder, played 61 games with 85 tackles and 7.0 sacks, including 2.0 sacks in 14 appearances last season.
