Adam Silver Speaks on Introducing “Hawk-Eye” System in NBA, Make Objective Ref Calls Easy

Speaking on the WCF game 5 play, where the refs didn't give an out-of-bounds despite the ball rolling off Chet Holmgren's foot, Silver said the NBA will eventually introduce a Hawk-Eye-like system. "[Objective] calls will be done by an AI automated system with cameras lined around the court," Silver said, with refs allowed to focus on difficult subjective calls.
