Alec Pierce Gets Second PRP Injection Amid Ankle Recovery

Colts WR Pierce received a second PRP injection to help with lingering soreness in his surgically repaired left ankle, per the Indianapolis Star. The injection wasn't due to a setback in his rehab. Pierce underwent ankle surgery in late March after an initial 4-6 month recovery timeline, and remains on the active/physically unable to perform list with no clear return date.
