Athletics Rally Late to Pull Even With Blue Jays in Ninth
The Athletics erased Toronto’s 2-1 lead in the ninth when Shea Langeliers launched his second solo homer of the night, tying the game 2-2. Langeliers had opened scoring in the fourth before Andrés Giménez’s fifth-inning triple put the Blue Jays ahead. As of mid-ninth, Oakland had clawed back level and pushed a tight contest toward a dramatic finish.
