Speaking after the Dodgers' ring ceremony, Kershaw described the role as "fluid', though it won't involve coaching. "I'll be involved somehow. Probably not physically here in L.A., but definitely, I'm sure I'll watch games," he said. Kershaw, who spent all 18 years of his MLB career with the Dodgers, retired in 2025 after his third World Series title.
