Atlanta Falcons Release Lamar Jackson

The Falcons officially released 12 players, including Jackson, before Tuesday’s 4 p.m. ET deadline for roster cuts. Jackson has played in a limited number of games over his four NFL seasons. He has moved between the Jets, Bears, Broncos, Chiefs, Panthers, and, most recently, the Falcons, where he appeared in two games in the 2024 season. He went undrafted in the 2020 NFL draft.
