Green criticized the fighting styles of Chimaev and Makhachev while discussing his disagreements with Dagestani fighters over MMA philosophy. The longtime UFC lightweight argued fighters should focus on entertainment as well as winning, saying, “They’re competitors, they’re not making art.” Green went further by calling Chimaev’s and Makhachev’s championship bouts “the most horrible title fights I’ve ever seen.”
