Daukaus said Trump backing Nickal at the White House card does not change his mindset before their fight. He acknowledged Nickal has supporters, including the president, but said plenty want him to win too. “I’ll just say ‘sorry that I beat him,’” Daukaus said, adding a strong finish might even get Trump on his side.
