Brian Daboll on Jaxson Dart: “I’m Glad We Drafted Him, I’m Glad He’s Our Guy”
Giants head coach praised the rookie QB after Thursday’s preseason game vs the Patriots, saying, "Those are split-second decisions, I trust him, and I would never take his competitiveness away.” Dart went 6-for-12 for 81 yards and a touchdown before leaving after a 23-yard run. Daboll admired his toughness but added, “In a preseason game…that’s a good time to slide.”

Jones recently labelled the Cowboys’ 48-32 playoff loss to Packers as his most painful ever, but Love and HC LaFleur weren’t fazed. The QB, who scored three-touchdowns in that fixture, shrugged: “Ain’t got nothing to say… He put it in great words.” LaFleur added, “Sorry, not sorry. That’s NFL. I’ve had my heart broken too, it comes with the territory.”
