Browns Waive 17, Release Four To Trim Roster

The Browns made 21 moves Sunday as the cutdown day nears to finalise the roster. Cleveland released QB Tyler Huntley, CB Tony Brown, OT Jackson Barton, and S Nik Needham. Seventeen other players were waived, including TE Sal Canella, CB Darius Rush, DE K.J. Henry, and LB Charlie Thomas III, as all NFL teams must finalize 53-man rosters by Tuesday’s 4 p.m. ET deadline.
