Carlos Mendoza Backs Freddy Peralta to Bounce Back After Phillies Loss
Peralta struggled immensely in the 15-3 loss to the Phillies, allowing 10 runs on 10 hits in just 2 2/3 innings in his career-worst performance. Mendoza, though, has no doubt Peralta will bounce back. "He's a competitor, he's a guy who's gonna come back the next day and look for ways to get better,” the Mets manager said.
