Cavs GM Mike Gansey Agrees to Become 76ers President of Basketball Operations
Gansey is leaving Cleveland to become the 76ers' new President of Basketball Operations, replacing Daryl Morey who was fired after six seasons, per Shams Charania. Bob Myers, the four-time Warriors championship architect, led the search and will work closely with Gansey, who joined Cleveland's front office in 2011 and served as GM since 2022.
