Colts Want to Reduce Jonathan Taylor’s Workload

Colts running backs coach DeAndre Smith said the team wants to reduce Taylor’s workload entering the 2026 season. “We definitely need to find ways to take some of that workload off,” Smith said, adding, “If I can find another guy or two that can take some of those carries off, he’s just going to be that much better.” Head coach Shane Steichen called Taylor “a hell of a player.”
