Craig Albernaz Says Ryan Helsley Will Avoid Elbow Surgery

Helsley landed on the IL on July 3 with elbow discomfort and was diagnosed with inflammation around the UCL in his right elbow. Manager Albernaz confirmed that although he will be sidelined for an extended period of time, the 31-year-old hasn't suffered any structural damage. Baltimore is optimistic that Helsley will return before the end of the season.
