Drew Tranquill Calls Chiefs’ $2.5M Paycut a “Win-Win Scenario”
“My agent and Veach had a lot of good conversations. My wife is having our fourth child,” Tranquill said. He added that the Chiefs did a “nice job” of making it a win-win scenario for both parties. Tranquill’s 2026 base pay was reduced from $6 million to $3.5 million. He also said he “definitely wants to help” the Chiefs win another Super Bowl.
