FIFA World Cup Sees Four Draws in One Day for the First Time Since 1958

All four matches of the day ended in draws: Spain 0-0 Cape Verde, Belgium 1-1 Egypt, Saudi Arabia 1-1 Uruguay, and Iran 2-2 New Zealand. This was the first such day in 68 years, the last instance being on June 15, 1968(Sweden). Both Group G and H are evenly poised before the next round of fixtures on June 21.
