First-Round Bids for Seahawks Due as Sale Process Officially Begins
The first round of bids for the Super Bowl champion Seahawks is due Monday, officially launching what could become the most expensive sale of an NFL franchise, according to Bloomberg's Randall Williams. The NFL reportedly wants the sale completed before the 2026 season. Seattle is expected to sell for more than the record $6.05 billion paid for the Commanders in 2023, with some estimates topping $9 billion.
