Giants Plan $45.6M Deal for Caleb Downs in 2026 NFL Draft

Ohio State safety Caleb is the consensus favorite for the No. 5 overall pick by the Giants. Widely regarded as a "generational" defensive talent, Downs is projected to sign a four-year, $45.6 million fully guaranteed contract. The deal includes a $28.3 million signing bonus and an inaugural cap hit of approximately $8.3 million, locking him till 2029.
