Grambling State University Bag Trademark for Iconic “G” Logo

Grambling State University announced that it has secured a federal trademark registration for its iconic stylized “G” logo under U.S. Trademark Registration No. 8148992. The logo has been cherished by the university since the 1970s, the same logo that the Packers and Georgia wear. GSU said the registration marks the successful culmination of decades of effort, including a prior attempt in 1998 to secure exclusive rights.
