The NCAA is appealing a Mississippi court injunction that granted Trinidad Chambliss a sixth season of eligibility with Ole Miss Rebels. Chambliss, the SEC Newcomer of the Year, transferred from Ferris State Bulldogs before a breakout 2025 season that helped lead Ole Miss to the College Football Playoff semifinals. The NCAA had previously denied both his eligibility appeal and reconsideration request.
